Frank Collins has compiled an extensive website detailing the history and institutions of East New Market. Among the many entries he has compiled are the records of the Dorchester Circuit. As Bethesda was occasionally part of that circuit, some of our transactions are listed.

Upper Shore Genealogical Society (USGS)
The USGS is an important source for genealogists all across the U.S. Its library, located in Greensboro, MD, houses many family histories and other resources. Admission to the library is free. One may become a member of the USGS for $25 annually, and receive the society’s regular newsletter, detailing research on all aspects of Shore genealogy.
